About Us
Wigmore opened in May 1911 and is situated in a quiet enclave, in attractive grounds, close to Streatham High Road and convenient for Balham, Streatham, Tooting and surrounding areas. In 2011 we held many events to help us celebrate our Centenary year and these were much enjoyed by all who attended! In 2008 we were awarded Clubmark status - one of the first clubs in the area to be awarded this prestigious status.

AGM set for 5pm on Sunday 25th March 2012.
Please do your best to join us there - to be held as usual in the Clubhouse.
As you may have noticed, we currently have an issue with mice in the clubhouse. We have hired an outside company to get rid of them. In the meantime, please be careful not to leave any food lying around. Bar food snacks are being kept in a secure place - but are still available to purchase!

We are a friendly club with a varied membership of all ages, backgrounds and standards of play. We welcome new members whether or not they have played tennis before. Our membership has increased considerably in recent years and we currently have around 540 members (including about 200 juniors).

8 All-weather courts! Consisting of 4 Synthetic Grass and 4 Artificial Clay courts.
Cosy Club house complete with a fully fitted kitchen, bar, pool table, table tennis and television.
