Club competitions: please play to dates

The summer tournament is well under way and pretty much on track for finals day on July 13. Please, please try and arrange your matches BEFORE the play-by dates indicated. Missing these dates has a knock-on effect into the next rounds. In some cases this means people who have played promptly in the early rounds and arranged their lives around the play-by dates have to pull out later on because their opponents have been slow to play. This is unfair. We don’t want to scratch anyone, and have not so far, but we will if we have to. 

The summer leagues will be starting soon. Watch this space.  If you are a new member who has entered and have received a text asking for info on your playing level please answer it promptly so that we can put you in an appropriate league. Enjoy your summer of competition.
